We went back to the South Rim on the day after we went to Sedona. We had a nice lunch, then walked around taking photos. After we spent four nights at the South Rim, we moved to accommodations at the North Rim for two nights. We spent one day at the North Rim, walking around, taking photos, and buying more stuff in the gift shop.
