A Different Kind of Menagerie
As we travel from place to place on this 40-day extravaganza, we have ended up with some rather different traveling companions. We started with Junior, a giraffe with blue spectacles. A few new friends have joined him, as shown in the photo below. One of the new friends will be adopted out to a new owner in Connecticut next month, the others will all reside with us in Virginia once we arrive home, in just (gulp) three days!
